PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Greg has over 30 years of commercial and consulting laboratory experience establishing Biotest

Laboratories in 1989 to deliver professional consulting, training, auditing and analytical services to the food,

water and pharmaceutical industries. Organizations that Greg has worked for include Castlemaine Tooheys,

Cadbury Schweppes, Petersville AUF, The East Melbourne Laboratories (Manager, Microbiology 1986-

1990), Melbourne Water and the Victorian Health Department (Food Safety Victoria).

As an APVMA approved cGMP auditor and technical director of a TGA licensed and NATA accredited

laboratory which provides broad based biological, microbiological and chemical (BP , USP & FCC) testing

services, Greg has gained extensive experience supporting manufacturers in the medical, pharmaceutical,

veterinary and biotechnology industries. Recent projects he has worked on include the design of cGMP

controlled environments, the isolation, expansion and storage of stem cells, aseptic manufacture of biological

and the definition & control of cell and IVF media. In 2009 he helped establish a Microbial genomics

business (MICROGENETIX P/L) performing PCR and DNA sequencing services.

Greg's qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry/Microbiology) and a Graduate Diploma in

Business Administration. An experienced trainer, he is also a qualified workplace trainer and assessor. He

is a member of the Australian Society for Microbiologists (MASM) and a professional member of the

Australian Institute of Food Science & Technology (AIFST).

His broad commercial and consulting experience provides a background which assists in identifying and

satisfying client technical needs and demands.
